Regimental Command

The Current Regimental Command of the Fuji Five Permanent Regiments and the three Regiments that remain from the old Regimental System are lead by Field Marshal Himura Kenshin, Among his Command staff are number of generals and Commanders from several units of the Imperial Guard. Several are from other Regiments than the Fuji as it actually very rare for the Field Martial to actually be in action with Fuji Regiments. Both the 4th Regiment and the 22nd Regiment have there C/O in the Command Staff of Field Marshal Himura, but often that that general orders about the Regiments. About ever 20 to 25 years the Regiments gather to exchange hardware, get super reinforcements of men and supplies from Fuji, at such times major reviews of Policy are done and the Regimental Command actually means something. However mostly the Fuji Field Marshal spends a lot of time heading up major actions by the Imperial Guard often with Dozens of Regiments from as many worlds under his command.
Regiments

Because the Fuji System is a Space Marine system, they are not require to offer troops to the Imperial Guard. They do so because of long standing societal attachment to military service have continued to do so at a lightly scaled back rate. Currently the recruitment Six to ten thousand personnel per year, this largely goes to the Main five Regiments keeping them at acceptable Strength of at least Five full Battalions. Often do to the fact that the First Regiment is nearly always in Combat actions it is rare for that Regiment to be at Strength for any really length of time. The rest of the manpower is split among the remaining regiments that were formed under the old system. Only the 13th Regiment is an exception as it take members form other planets and tends to absorb remaining squads from dismantled forces. This gives them a large input of manpower from other areas of the Imperium. Regiments are largely Co-ed, Courting couples are suppose to keep decorum and Change of Command intact. The Common initial length of service is 14 years, with recurring periods of five years. Chevron are used to show tours of duty past the first 14 years. Originally Abhuman units were assigned from outside the Fuji but so many retired to the Fuji System that much of the Abhuman support can now from the Abhuman communities that have joined the main population of Fuji.

Regimental Structure

Squad

Squad is a military unit typically composed of ten soldier. Veteran squads are often fielded without attaching them to Platoon Commands, often taking direct orders from Company Command. Squads are led by a Non-commissioned officer — the squad leader or platoon commander, usually a sergeant, Vets are often lead by a sergeant major or some times a commissioned officer if special forces. He or she is usually assisted by a non-commissioned officer — the Squad 2IC normally a corporal though Vets often have a sergeant.

Platoon

Platoon is a military unit typically composed of three to five squads and containing about 30 to 50 soldiers. A platoon is typically the smallest military unit in any Fuji Regiment led by a commissioned officer — the platoon leader or platoon commander, usually a lieutenant or a second lieutenant. He is usually assisted by a senior non-commissioned officer — the platoon sergeant. The Hajime platoons, is often lead by a Captain and his platoons are lead by sergeant majors. A Tank Platoon consists of three tanks, Each Tank with a lieutenant with the Lead tank commanded by a Captain.

Company

A company is a military unit, typically consisting of 90 to 248 soldiers. Companies are formed of three to five platoons, zero to Seven Combat Support Platoons, and an Company Command Squad. The Company commander is usually a Major. He is usually assisted by a Junior commissioned officer — the Hajime platoon Captain. The Hajime Company, is often lead by a major with plenty of battle experience. A tank company consists of three to five tank platoons and a Command Tank Commanded by a Major, supported by a Techpriest Enginseer and his Servitors.

Battalion

A battalion is a military unit of around 750-1500 soldiers usually consisting of between three and seven companies and typically commanded by a Lieutenant Colonel. Five to seven battalions are grouped to form a Fuji Imperial Guard regiment. A tank battalion consists of three to five tank Companies and a Command Tank Commanded by a Lieutenant Colonel.

Fuji Regiments

1st Fuji Regiment
C/O Colonel Owia Kenshin

The First Fuji Regiment is often considered the Elite Regiment, Thousands of men in the Fuji System dream of being one of these great heroes. The Battle Honours of this Regiment are many, and because of this they are in the field of battle almost continually. There is little rest but much glory. Currently this Regiment is at three battalions strength, two below standard strength for a Fuji Regiment. This Regiment is largely Infantry with large numbers of Specialized Squads and veteran units. They also have three Units of Baneblade Tanks.

2nd Fuji Regiment
C/O Colonel Ogami Itto

The Second Fuji Regiment is often called the Okami [Wolves] because of the Commander's family name. The been know to put Wolf icons on their Tanks and other Armour because of this. also the Regiment has served with the Space wolves a number of times over the history and a historical understand exists between the two forces. Ogami is an Old Daimyo Family from before the Arrival of the Emperor during the Crusade of Unity, and they have an almost Hereditary hold on the Command of this Regiment Make no mistake thought they earn it and the Entire Ogami Clan has some of the most tactical minds in their sector. The Current Chapter master of the Tenno no Samurai is an Ogami after all. Currently this Regiment is at Six Battalions strength.

3rd Fuji Regiment
C/O Colonel Fujiyama Taro

The Third Fuji Regiment is Light Infantry Regiment, prone to Drop in use and the like, or often Guard duty functions, Policing actions and the like. As a result they tend to be a a lot harder personality wise and often considered soft by many other Imperial Guard regiments. They would not agree, their discipline is second to none, and they fear nothing. They also deal more often with Chaos cults and summoned Demons and as a result have less trouble with such foes, or at least the terror aspect. Currently this Regiment is at Five Battalions strength.

4th Fuji Regiment
C/O Major General Tokugawa Hiro

The Fourth Fuji Regiment is an Armour and Mechanized Infantry forces and the only other Regiment to have assigned Baneblade Tanks other than the First Regiment and the Thirteenth Regiment. further they have six units of Baneblade under their forces, if not their command as they are often lent to other actions. Currently this Regiment is at four Infantry Battalions and three Armour Battalions.

5th Fuji Regiment
C/O Colonel Hojo Hajime

The Fifth Regiment is a Infantry Regiments like hundreds of others in the Imperial Guard, they often do Clean of up actions after major pushes, and have often dealt with Orks. They are experts on Xenos especially Greenskins and many members have "master" Ork Speak to help with Ambushes and start fights with other guard units. the Least Disciplined of the Fuji Regiments, their Colonel is still known for his brawling abilities and once Started a fight in the Officer's Mess on Armageddon VI because another office called his men Bloody lazy Louts. The Regiment has a strong feeling of Brotherhood and general has officers that love their men like sons and daughters. As a results promotions come fast in this regiment as the officers lead rather than direct. Currently this Regiment is at Five Battalions strength.

13th Fuji Regiment
C/O Colonel Sawaczski Symon

The Thirteenth Fuji Regiment is largely Infantry with a number of Abhuman Units, It is also the only Fuji Regiment to accept large numbers of reinforcement manpower from systems other than Fuji. As a result there are a huge number of odd names and cultural clashes that happen with in the regiment. the Fuji roots of this unit are sound but it often called the "mongrels" behind their backs by other Guard units. Doing this in Ear shot of a Fuji's unit is general bad for the speaker, doing it to an actual member of the 13th regiment is pretty much suicide. The Regiment has a fierce, almost savage reputation. Currently this Regiment is at Five Battalions strength. The Regiment has a Functioning Baneblade and Shadowsword Super Heavy Tank

22nd Fuji Regiment
C/O Lieutenant General Saitou Sakura

The Twenty-Second Fuji Regiment is a Mix of Standard Infantry and Mechanized Infantry They are lead but Saitou Sakura, the highest ranked Woman to ever serve in the any Fuji Regiment, there talk that she might be the next Field Marshal should the position come open. Sakura is likely the strongest, hardest, most in control woman in the entire imperial guard. She can stand toe to toe with Space marine Chapter masters, and has been know to make Inquisitor lords feel intimated. When she was a Major she got into a fight with a Drunk Ogryn and killed him with her bare hands. She smokes cigars and is never seen with out her Chrome plated twin bolt Pistols. Currently this Regiment is at Five Battalions strength.

27th Fuji Regiment
C/O General Natsume Hiko

The Twenty-seventh Fuji Regiment is a Standard Infantry Guard Regiment. In every way the 27th, unit is just like dozens of other Guard units. the only thing of note is that Natsume Hiko is 2.5 Meters tall. Currently this Regiment is at Five Battalions strength.

Home System

PDF
General Daikana Ryo [Vice-Shogun]

Fuji Systems PDF force can be easily differentiate from the Fuji Regiments by their green and Black uniforms. Other than that their Ranks and other badges are the Same. The Force consists of ten Home regiments of Six Battalions. each of these Regiments goes on active duty for a year, providing the majority of the Defense Security needs of the system in that time. the Rest of the Regiments are in reserve status serving ever third weekend and two three week stints per year. In addition the PDF can Draw on six more Reserve regiments of the same size that have only two three week commitment under normal conditions in a year. even beyond that there are literality thousands of Guard and PDF members that retain rank and supplies in the many Clan based Militias/veteran groups. Daikana Ryo is the rather easy going command and effectively Imperial Governor of the Fuji system. also under his command. He is both and Equal and Subborant to the Field Marshal of the Fuji Regiments, In the Planet's government and Equal and under the Guard System subborant, rarely is this a problem however. While in theory the Training of the Imperial Guard is under the Regimental Command, most of the actual administration is done out of the PDF's General Office and Staff.

Fuji Training Corp
C/O Major General Daikana Juibi

The Fuji Training Corp Consists of about 400 Officers and men looking after about 15000 recruits at any given time. They Report to the Regimental Command Staff, however in all practical matters they rely on the the PDF General for Direction. Given that the Training C/O is the younger Brother of the Current PDF General this isn't a problem but it has some times been so in the past. Training Corp has a number of facilities for Guard and PDF training around the Fuji system, enabling them to train in most environments that the Imperial Guard might find themselves in. the Training is good and the Discipline is strict but given the martial nature of the people of the Fuji System rarely are there many problems.
