In the 41st Millennium one force stands between humanity and annihilation, a warrior brotherhood by whose valour and extraordinary skill at arms Mankind endures. They are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines and though there are less than one million of them spread through the galaxy, they represent the greatest hope for civilization. Each Space Marine is part of a Chapter, an army of warriors one thousand strong who share an intense fraternal bond. Each Chapter is composed of ten companies and each company of ten squads. In these small groups the Space Marines do battle. A company is considered enough to quell a planetary rebellion, a Chapter can conquer a whole star system. The Ultramarines are often considered to be one of the best examples of the Space marines. Lead by Marneus Calgar, Master of the Ultramarines and Lord of Macragge, the Blue armours is much praised many in the Imperium and much Feared by forces opposed to The Imperium. Some what mocked by some people in the Imperium, there Straight lace manners has caused them to back the orders of Augustus Marcus Romulus of the Ordo Malleus of the Inquisition placing against other members of the Adeptus Astartes.

The Inquisition is a secretive body, founded in the earliest days of the Imperium, to defend humanity against the alien, the witch and the heretic. Such is the power and authority wielded by an Inquisitor; he can call upon the services of every branch of the Imperium's armed forces, even the mighty Space Marines should the threat be great enough. Each Inquisitor is an exceptional individual with access to their own specialist troops. A Demonhunter army can be bolstered by the awesome Gray Knights. Surpassing even their brother Space Marines in skill and ability and armed with psychically charged force weapons and an unshakable faith in the Emperor, there is no more daunting foe for a demon to face.
A Space Maine Chapter Allied with the Ultramarines

The Dark Lions are a Dark Angels descendant chapter. They were founded in 876 M37. The Eldar were making a number of pushes into Imperial Space. The Dark Angels were the only ones who could react. They sent out Captain Nero Vortarian of the Fifth Company. He instantly set to work, throwing the treacherous Eldar off every world they captured. Their goals were beyond him, but he cared not. They were doing harm to the Imperium of Man, and for that they must be put to the sword down to the last man, woman and xenos child. By the time the crusade was almost over, they were a very long ways away from The Rock and the Dark Angels. As they were about to surround and destroy the Eldar Craftworld and its fleet, disaster struck. Their communications were shattered as Eldar Warp Magick cut off the warp to them. They had no way of traveling back home or contacting the Dark Angels. Nero was enraged. In a fit of near unholy rage, he ordered the all-out assault of the Eldar Craftworld responsible. Nero drew up a dangerous plan. He learned from the example of the Astral Knights, and was to ram his Battle Barge into the massive ship. In the ensuing drop of shields, every marine would drop pod onto the Craftworld and slaughter everything. Power weapons and plasma pistols were spread out as far as they would go. Then they attacked. They blew through the shields as predicted and caused catastrophic damage to the ship. The strike cruisers and other ships deployed all their Thunderhawks and every Marine in the company from the lowest battle brother to the most seasoned veteran drop podded onto the Craftworld. They then went about their bloody business, killing any Eldar they saw, smashing their relics and sacred artifacts with their fists if need be. After four bloody hours of blitz combat and almost 75% casualties, they reached the Farseer and her retinue of warp spiders. But that was not the worst part. Behind them stood the immense molten form of the Avatar of Khaine. All that managed to get that far was Nero, four of his ten terminator retinue and a vanguard veteran squad with Sergeant Arctarius Dune, the most accomplished close combat veteran in the Fifth Company. Nero ordered everyone to attack the Farseer and her retinue. He would fight the blasphemous Avatar personally. His men attacked immediately, killing the warp spiders almost instantly, it was the Farseer that was trouble. She killed all the terminators in seconds with her deadly blade, the vanguard followed a similar fate soon after. It was then just her and Dune. They clashed in an epic manner for about an hour while Nero fought the Avatar, Dunes brute strength and durability versus the Farseers speed and sheer tenacity. Eventually, the Farseer managed to slash at his leg and Dune fell to one knee. In her arrogance, the Farseer raised her spear to finish the sergeant in an epic manner during his moment of weakness. But it was a clever feint and as she raised her spear he jammed his sword into her waist and out her face. He then watched as Nero fought the Avatar. Nero was fast and skilled, but the Avatar had many times his strength and it showed. But then the avatar made a fatal error. He was going to make a vertical chop with the wailing doom, when Nero threw his sword with all his strength and it collided with the avatars eye socket. It fell to its knees, screamed and exploded. The day had been won, but at a cost. Almost the entire fifth company was gone. Their fleet remained, but their numbers were very depleted. It was dark times ahead. The Dark Angels finally re-established contact with Nero after 336 years. By then, the companys remaining apothecary had managed to replace their losses by recruiting from nearby feral worlds and gifting the recruits with the gene seed of the marines who fell on the Craftworld. They had used the wreckage to build their own fortress monastery and had been building their numbers and training for the day they could travel through the warp again. When the Dark Angels found them, they realized they would never be dark angels again. So they declared Nero the master of a new chapter, The Dark Lions. He was thrilled, and so were his men. They received additional equipment from the Dark Angels and gene seed from Terra. It is now the 41st millennium and the Dark Lions have served with distinction in many battles.
Lead by Logan Grimanr, the Space Wolves can be considered among the greatest of the Space Marine Chapters, an assemblage of ferocious warriors hungry for glory and steadfast in their defense of Mankind. Their history is long and glorious, spanning ten thousand years of ceaseless battle in the name of the Allfather, and their Primarch Leman Russ.
In combat, the fighting style of the Space Wolves typically show a strong preference towards close combat, for every Space Wolf is a warrior born to the axe and blade - once a feral tribesman from the death world of Fenris, now reborn as a sky warrior, the mightiest heroes of the Imperium, one of the Adeptus Astartes. OF course they have not always been the biggest fan of the Inquisition. They hope to prevent the unjust actions of the Inquisition.
An Imperial Guard Regiment of Cadian decent currently based from the Argonauta system.

Elements of this Guard formation are present on the planet.

The Five Permanent Fuji Imperial Guard Regiments share their world with the Tenno no Samurai Space marine Chapter. Because of the Fuji's Warrior ways they choice to continue to give their Imperial Guard Regiments but they have been scales to five Permanent Regiments from the 28 regiments that were standing at the time the Space Marine Chapter was formed. Tenno no Samurai's fortress base, sits on the side of Mount Tokuyama. The Heavily fortified mimics the Classic Lines for Castles of the Planet Fuji since before reunification, when the Emperor came and showed the people of Fuji IV the True light. This is represented often as red Sun Disk in art, and on the Shoulder pads of Samurai no Tenno and also remains a popular Icon for Regiment Tanks and Armoured Units. This however, is not representing the Emperor as the Sun but representing the guiding light he brought to the Fuji system was reclaimed into the Imperium. Fuji IV is a Largely Agricultural world. There is strong Abhuman population on Fuji IV, Ratling and Ogryn settlements can be found in small corners of the world. These are descended from retired Imperial Guard members that were assigned to Fuji Regiments over several thousand years they have reach stable populations and now serve in Fuji Regiments rather than having to be assigned to the units. Another Quirk of people of Fuji System is their Tolerance of Pyskers. They don't fear Psykers and often consider such people to be Blessed my the Emperor. This acceptance has some times cause the inquisition to investigate the planet, of course not with the Space Marine Chapter such action will not be tolerated without hard evidence. Further many Inquisritional officers and Inquisitors have roots or linage to Fuji system.
The First Fuji Regiment is often considered the Elite Regiment, Thousands of men in the Fuji System dream of being one of these great heroes. The Battle Honours of this Regiment are many, and because of this they are in the field of battle almost continually. There is little rest but much glory. Currently this Regiment is at three battalions strength, two below standard strength for a Fuji Regiment. This Regiment is largely Infantry with large numbers of Specialized Squads and veteran units. They also have three Units of Baneblade Tanks.

The Samurai No Tenno have developed a well rounded training regiment, and are able to fight as the Codex Astartes directs chapters. They do, however, prefer a combat doctrine of close combat supported by suppressive, ranged firepower. The chapter is quite capable of shifting combat tactics to what will work and will certainly examine every resource on an upcoming enemy. The chapter will make use of sniper and devastate squads to provide cover fire for the assaulting squads, moving across the field of battle, to meet the opposition face to face. The chapter prefers close combat for a number of reasons. One reason is that it eliminates reliance on ammunition. A brother with one power Katana or chain sword can kill more enemies than a bolter with 1 clip for the clip will eventually expend all ammunition while the brother's Katana will always be ready to strike. Another reason is that the Astartes are stronger, faster, and more deadly than many xenos forces in close combat. Other races choose to make up for their overall lack of close combat ability by using very deadly ranged weaponry. By engaging these xenos threats at close range, the chapter eliminates their enemies. strengths and presents an opportunity for its brothers to take advantage of their potent ability. Lascannons and Missile launchers are a favourite though Multi Melta are also favourite for encounters with harder mobile targets. As a Result Land Raiders are a favoured method of Transportation, Crusaders and Redeemers especially favoured. They also have a good rapport with the Space Wolves
The chapter truly does value the lives of the Imperial citizens and much like the Space Wolves and Salamanders, will often take on the less revered, yet vital, tasks of protecting supply lines, reinforcing Imperial Guard positions, and aiding Imperial citizens in evacuation by protecting their cities and worlds from oncoming forces. The chapter truly does value the lives of the Imperial citizens. The chapter will make decisions on the field of battle that include Imperial Guard and Imperial Navy forces as brothers in arms, rather than cannon fodder. And eliminating Imperial forces and citizens along with threats is seen as negligence, laziness, and action that is not in line with the Emperor's vision for the Astartes. The strong Military tradition of the Fuji System that dates back to reunification with the Imperium has strongly reinforced this love of the Fellow Military Arms of the Imperium's armed forces.
The Space marines are not know for their innovation in wargear, however the Samurai no Tenno do have one unique peice of equipment. The Land Speeder Kamikaze [Divine Wind in the Fuji IV orginal language.]

While they remain a Codex Chapter this 10th founding Chapter based on Raven Guard geneseed, very much favours Camouflage, stealth and surprise attacks. Ambush and other less honourable mentiods are welcome parts of their battle plans. They formally defended the Fuji and Zaithera Sectors as the local Space marine Chapter in the Area. They maintain a friendly rivalry with the Samurai No Tenno, who took over the protection of the Fuji sector. Darth, the Emperor's Unseen's home world lays at the edge of the Current boarder of the Fuji Sector. The do have one thing that Load and Proud, their Forgehammer Super Heavy Tanka rare Baneblade Varaint built for Space Marines. Each one is custom made for the Chapter it is given to and only given in for the extra ordinary defense of a Forge World that can produce Bane Blades.

The Witch Hunters of the Ordo Hereticus are the most sinister of all Inquisitors, charged with rooting out the enemy within; the mutant, the witch and the heretic. Together with the Sisters of Battle; they will mercilessly purge such evil with fire and divine vengeance.
What do you have to say for yourself before sentence is carried out?
The Imperium will fall! You will all suffer-
CRACK! By the Emperor, I wish just once they would shut up.
Inquisitor Lord Romulus is a devoted Puritan [Monodominant] inquisitor. He will stop at nothing to destroy every last vestige of chaos he is investigating. He has been known to raise whole planets in the name of purging chaos. While not a Dark Lion himself, he works with them exclusively as military backup, gray knights aside. During a battle with daemons, Lord Nero saved his life. Since then, the Dark Lions are the only Chapter or regiment hell trust. He has a stoic nature and answers almost everything as bluntly and truthfully as possible. He infuriates most battle commanders this way, but Nero and Dune find it considerably easier to work with than worship and awe. Romulus also has a deep hatred for those who refuse orders from the high lords. The Space Wolves almost always refuse orders to pull out of warzones. This infuriates Romulus. But his psychic advisors tell him one day they will meet in battle. Romulus has vowed to make sure Logan Grimnar doesnt walk away.
Marneus Augustus Calgar is the Ultramarine's current Chapter Master and the Lord of Macragge. Following a skirmish against the Tyranid Hive Fleet Perseus in 976.M41, Calgar lost all four limbs as well as large areas of body tissue and his left eye. Now fitted with bionic replacements, he is more machine than man. As one might expect from an embodiment of the Ultramarine's nobility, Calgar is immune to fear and is resolutely courageous under fire; where lesser men would dive for cover when being fired upon, Marneus Calgar takes quick stock of the situation, decides the best course of action, and only if he so decides to leap into cover, then he will do so.
28 volumes of records dedicated to the achievements and deeds of Calgar, surpassed only by Roboute Guilliman, are stored within a vault at the Macragge's Chapter Fortress. Amongst these achievements include: leading the breaching assault on the Tyranid Hive Ship Behemoth Primus, single-handedly holding the gate against an Ork Horde for a night and a day at the Siege of Zalathrax, defeating an Eldar Avatar in single-handed combat, thus leading to the rout of Eldar forces at the Battle for Orar's Sepulchre, and recapturing the star fort Indomitable from the daemonic hordes of M'kar the Reborn.
These treacherous xenos has cut us off from home. They have killed imperial citizens, and desecrated Imperial Shrines. It is for these crimes we shall make them suffer for. Kill them all. Let none escape our holy vengeance. PUT THEM ALL, TO THE SWORD AND FLAME!!!
-Nero Vortarian
Lord Nero is 842 years old. He is a master tactician as well as a fearsome fighter. He has proven himself against every enemy of mankind from the ruinous powers to the treacherous Eldar. Although he rarely enters a battle personally anymore, it is a terrible day when he does. He is renowned for his passion for the common man. Once he was en route to an objective in his thunderhawk when he noticed a village under attack. He couldnt strafe the village as he would kill the inhabitants as well as the attackers. So he set down to aid the village. About two dozen Khorne Berserkers were sacking the village. He immediately attacked, killing half and gunning down the rest as they fled with his plasma pistol. He has since always strived to save the people of Dark Lion warzones. For his heroic actions, the High Lords of Terra commissioned a suit of armor and suitable weapons. So born was the Lions Gear. A suit of artificer with built in pain killer injectors, a lightning claw made of an adamantium alloy with an energy field that can fell the toughest foes in one stroke, and the Lions Breath, a combi-flamer that can engulf any foe in the most terrible flames. He has cleaved through entire hordes of enemies with this gear. Through his tactical skill, martial prowess and passion for the common man, he has become a legendary chapter master.
He is unkillable! We fired an entire tank squadron at him and he never even broke stride! We cant hold him back! He and his retinue are breaking through! NO! NO! GET BACK!
SUFFER THE EMPERORS WRATH!! (Crunching and screaming)
-Tau transmission, at the end of the Jonar campaign
Captain Arctarius Dune is 543. He was promoted to captain of the first company when the Chapter was founded. When he was promoted he was gifted with a suit of terminator armor and a storm shield. He was also given a prize relic, the Lions Paw. It is a hammer of untold power and he has literally smashed tank squadrons to scrap. While he does not share Neros tactical skill or passion for the common man, he is every bit as skilled a fighter, probably even more. His command style contrasts with Neros as he uses cold and unfeeling logic fueled by a sense of fiery vengeance. Before he was recruited as a marine, he watched his village burn and his mother get murdered by Dark Eldar. He then swore an oath of vengeance while his eyes burned with tears of rage. He watched the very Dark Eldar who carved his beloved parent. It was an archon, who was missing his eye. But fate smiled on his plight, and his first campaign as a Vanguard sergeant was against the same Dark Eldar. He found the Archon after the battle was over, attempting to flee to a cave. He told his men to stay where they were and he left to fight the Archon personally. When he found him in the cave, he was wounded and only had a splinter pistol, whose shots pinged off Dunes armor harmlessly. He then threw down his weapons and beat the archon to death with his bare hands. Since then he has always aimed to destroy his opponent to the last man.
Why do you marines hunt us so? We fight only for the greater good!
Most of my brothers will tell you because your enemies of the Imperium, because youre blasphemous xenos, etcetera etcetera. Me? I do it because I like it.
No, no, NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Lieutenant Hannibus Lector is 341. He is cruel, sick, sadistic killer who delights in making the enemies of Man suffer. With his Artificer armor and twin blades, Wrath and Vengeance, he has cleaved through hordes of just about everything. He has been investigated by the Inquisition a number of times. Every time Nero has vouched for him. His argument is always the same. He passes every purity test and has slaughtered more of the Emperors enemies than you ever will. So what is in question? He rarely speaks to other marines and when he does its never to say nice things. He has a quiet, low voice that scares even the most stout hearted man to the core. Since he has donned the armor of a marine, his martial prowess has advanced him to the rank lieutenant, but his lack of leadership potential will keep him there. He has racked up an impressive tally of two Farseers, three Ethereals, a Warboss, an Archon, two Necron lords, and a Chaos Lord. He once fought Kharn the Betrayer, but there was an explosion nearby which sent both fighters flying. When Lector woke, Kharn was nowhere to be seen.
Logan Grimnar is the Great Wolf, the High King of Fenris and the leader of the Space Wolves Chapter today. His is a legacy of mighty deeds and noble leadership, an undiminished reign of courage and loyalty towards the Emperor of Mankind. He is at once a kindly old wolf and a savage warleader, willing to drink strong mead and eat red meat with his men and fight alongside them in battle. He is a larger-than-life hero, and his Space Wolves adore him, each ready to follow him into the jaws of hell in defense of humanity.
At the head of the Space Wolves Chapter, Logan Grimnar has participated in some of the greatest battles in the history of the Space Wolves Chapter. His was the voice that rallied the shattered defenders of Armageddon against the Chaos Berserkers of Angron in the first Armageddon War. His too was the call heeded by the Ordos Malleus that despatched the Grey Knights to save that doomed world.
For more than half a millennia Logan Grimnar has overseen the Sons of Russ, crushing Ork Waaaghs!, Eldar incursions and Chaos invasions. He has also made war against the agents of the Imperium, for he will not hesitate to fight any who threaten the safety of those within his domain. His willingness to fight, whoever the foe, stands as a salutary warning to any who would cross his path - for it is better to have the Old Wolf as a friend than an enemy.
Owia Kenshin is the current col. of the First Fuji Rifle Regiment, as such it one of the most important and well liked officers in the Fuji Regiment, there is talk of promoting him into the Fuji Regimental Command when and opening comes up or Field Marshal Himura Kenshin decides to add a position. He well thought of in his Regiment and leads by example, not by shouting orders to people and watching other do the real work. because of this he is considered to be very luck as a number of scars and the like mark his body. He has a reputation as a ladies' man and can be seen often flirting with females in Imperial forces other than his own regiment. It said he dallied with even members of the Ordo Hereticus and members of the Orders of the Sisters of Battle.
Currently the Leader of the Coven of the Fuji Sector, this Lord Inquisitor is often seen as being too Humane for the job of the Ordo. Never the less is ability and skill has ended the lives of many Heretics and saved countless lives in the Imperium. A member of the Amalathian faction, he mixes a great deal of pramatic belief in the Emperor's Plan, the Emperor is no fool is a common statement by Donald. He hates Monodominants because of the Iron Clan unflexable and often wastful practices. He has a strong dislike for He hates the wanted lost of life, and finds tactics of the Ordo Malleus to be distasteful as the often "reward" those who fight chaos at their side. He hates this and his for once in a position to stop it. He juctifing what he knows the Space Wolves will do anyways. He may face sanction from the Ordos of the Inquisition but if Augustus Marcus Romulus doesn't live that not likely.
The Ogami Family has a long history of worthy leaders and Itto is the first to become Chapter master of the Samurai no Tenno. He is level head and will not waste lives of the Imperium. Because of this he stands with his Comrades in the Space Wolves.
Hajime favours the Lightning Claws of the Tactical Dreadnought armour and is know for his equally sharp wit.
With a Raspy voice Stephen orders his troops into the shadows, to strike from the darkness. Not Obsessed with honour like the Samurai no Tenno, Stephen leads his forces through the toughest terrain to strike from the unexpected angles. They Risk much with each attack but the reward is beyond price.
